Batman Chronicles vol. 1 is a awesome collection of some of the first Batman stories ever made. In this collection of stories we see the first appearances of such characters as the Joker, Catwoman, and best of all, Batman's sidekick: Robin. For me, a fun part of reading this collection is seeing the evolution of Batman. In fact, in some stories Batman carries a gun. I would recommend this graphic novel to fans of Batman.
